Just some thoughts...

Yep. Me and Georgie on our wedding day August 2, 1975. We got married in the beautiful backyard of my parent's house out in the country. You can't see it in the picture but my hair is way down to my waist! George has a way to go to catch up.
I made my dress. I finished it the day before (of course). On my wedding day it was a mad rush to get dressed ( too long to go into here...something about being down the road in my bathing suit when wedding guests were arriving). Then when I went to put on my dress I could hardly get my arms in the armholes! My mother had decided that the neckline was too low (look at the photo to see how untrue that would be) and that night sewed the shoulder seams more to bring up the neckline, hence also making the armholes much smaller!
You know, it's all about her after all.
